We all know Disney Characters since we were a child.
We came to believe in the power of our dreams.
We came to believe in Fairy God Mother, Fairies, Dazzling Prince Charming and
Princesses… and of course, in Happily Ever After. Each of us has our favorite
Disney Character; as for me, I like them all. I dream of becoming part of Disney like
singing some of their inspiring songs and drew some of Disney characters that
I’m fond of. But what I like and admire the most in Disney is its stories that can
inspire and can lift up everyone’s spirits. I love Disney stories not only
because of the happy ending I already been expecting but also because
of the moral lesson I learned to each of the main character’s struggles and
hardship before they had achieved a never ending happily ever after.
They all show the power of love, friendship and hope. After all that they’ve
been through they win and survive because of their brave heart and
courage to face their powerful villains and they had defeated them all.
In Disney and in this world nothing is impossible “If You Can Dream”.
The moral lessons that Disney had taught me:
ALADDIN –
“True Love can conquer all.”… “Money is not the most important thing in the world. Love is.”
The Little Mermaid –
“One can give up once richness and power because of LOVE. In the end, no one can tell you what to do but to “Follow Your Heart”.
Cinderella –
“Be kind to unkind people - they need it the most”… “True Friends are like stars only to be seen in the night of adversity”… “Dreams are like stars...you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.”
Snow White – “Kindness is like a sweet fragrance of flower that anyone can’t resist.”… “Don’t easily trust people and take their apple of friendship… it might kill you.”…
Sleeping Beauty
–“Your True Love can face all danger just to help and save you.”… “One true love kiss can wake you up in your worst nightmare”
Mulan –
“You seldom end up where you wanted to go, but almost always end up where you need to be.”… “It's choice--not chance--that determines your destiny.”… “Your reflection can’t always determine who you really are.”
Beauty and the Beast –
“Don’t judge the book by its cover… look into his heart.”…“A big castle though it’s beautiful became ugly if you’re alone and not happy”… “People learn from his mistakes and people can definitely change”… “True Love can be found in the heart of a good person.”
Pocahontas –
“One true nationality is mankind”… “We may be different because of our nationality and appearances but inside we should all be the same as our heart beat as one”… “Nature is for all human being we should all love and care for our nature just like we love and care for our fellowman.”
Rapunzel (Tangled) –
“You can’t handle things on your own; sometimes you need to lend your hair to help them reach you.”
Alice in Wonderland –
“Time is running fast so you better run faster”…"No one can tell your fate but you."
Red Riding Hood –
“Liars can disguise themselves as truth but truth will slip inevitably to their mouth.”… “Protect yourself in people, who tell lies, they always have nasty plans for you”."Wolves are everywhere so be aware."
Mickey and Friends –
“You can truly laugh your heart out if you have friends that can laugh with you”… “Your eyes will glow if you’re happy inside”… “Your Best friend is the one who always at your side”.
Hercules –
“True strength not only comes in muscles but also in your heart”… “Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing.”…
Tarzan –
“Our family is the one who accepts us and loves us for who we are…but we can also get love in people who learn to love and care for us.” “We should protect the people we love and take care of the things they love."
Peter Pan –
“Why some people can fly? …because they believe!” “Being old is not scary for people who are content and happy.” “The only difference of young and old is only by number… you’re age doesn’t matter, what matter is mainly of what you had become when you grow older.”
One Hundred and One Dalmatians –
“It’s not the number that counts but its value”… “Share love not only to your family but also to all who needs it.”
Pinocchio –
“Truth is like a light that illuminates our way to darkness.”… “Honesty is a good nature that produces confidence to oneself.”... "Your conscience like jimmy cricket will tell you if what you're doing is right or wrong."
Winnie the Pooh –
“Friends! Friends! They are everywhere.”… “A Good Friend can share a tasty honey for you to enjoy with.”… “Friends are like bees, they’re near if you’re sweet like a honey.”
Lion King –
“Being a king is once fate, but being a friend to everybody is something you had chosen to be.”… “You are brave because you have power but you’re braver if you have someone who can be with you in each of your fight.”
Brother Bear –
“Showing your strength is not by showing your killing skills but by trying to protect someone even if it causes your own life.”… “Giving love and care to someone you don’t know is like a rain that pours in heaven to wet us all”.
Bolt –
“Rather than money, than fame… give me truth and love”… “Your family is your friend; your friend is your family.”
~ Yes, that’s all I’ve learned in each Disney Stories I knew. And Disney Stories for me cannot only inspire people but also can help them learn to face their fears, to have hope and to share their dreams to others. We all wanted to overcome our fears, to achieve our goals and to have a happily ever after in life… so we should emulate our favorite Disney Characters by means of their courage, strength, believing, hoping, loving, trusting and making their dreams come true.
We can all make “a whole new world” that’s shining, shimmering, and real splendid. We can see our true reflection that shows who we really are inside. If we can dream, our wish we're having on a star will come true… the colors of the wind and kindness of our heart will lead us and be our guide. And you’ll definitely know it when your heart finds (^^,)…. (SMILE!)
